What I meant to say is that if a potential client comes to me looking for an overabundance of work at little cost to them and they don't have a certain amount of respect for my skills, then it throws up a red flag immediately.

I have noticed over the years, that if someone is constantly questioning my prices, skills or advice, then they have not taken the time to thoroughly plan ahead of time.

On the flipside, it can also be our own fault for not seeing the forest for the trees and the client ends up clouding our judgement. Sometimes by simply asking a straightforward question or telling a client “No” we are telling them to stop and think. As a result, I have ended up gaining respect from the client for being upfront and honest.

Im the same to be honest, and some times I do feel that clients cannot be blamed all the time but on occasions, and indeed more often than I would like, the situation above does happen and it makes me really sad that they do not take the business as seriously as they should financially but expect ridiculous amounts of work.

Such is the business we are in I guess.
